Howdy, I'm Noel Cower, and I don't have H1N1. <EveryoneElse>Hi, Noel.</EveryoneElse>

I'll pad my preferences with various bits of text that you can go ahead and ignore. I just like my paragraphs to look at least a tiny bit big. It's a guy thing, don't question it. Edit: Also, I snipped out a paragraph since it had no use being in there. If you saw it, pat yourself on the back!

I don't really know if I have a favorite anime. Maybe Eureka 7. Generally anything by Bones is good, with the exception of Rah Xephan, which I arbitrarily decided to dislike. Cowboy Bebop is always a safe bet too.

My favorite manga is Berserk, if only for the ultraviolence. If you don't like ultraviolence, I suggest you watch every breakdancing movie of the '80s, as this is the only surefire way to understand. I've also been reading Übel Blatt, since it reminds me of Berserk a bit (people get chopped up into various bits and pieces). Only downside is the nudity, so I can't read it when I'm in the library procrastinating, and seeing a tiny little elf man goin' at it just isn't right.

For the uninteresting stuff, I'm an English major. I enjoy writing horror and comedy, but I'm good at neither. I also like reading poetry, and although I can write it, I'm not very fond of the medium (I blame the people who write poetry without knowing how to write poetry for my dislike of it).

I also like programming, provided I don't have to use Perl (one day I will get the chance to disembowel Larry Wall for his crimes against humanity) or any other language starting with a P. Really liking Objective-C lately, if only because Apple added lambdas to C. Coolest thing ever. I'm not a computer scientist, I just enjoy programming; so if you ask me anything about theory or mathematics, I will probably stare at you like you're speaking a foreign language. If you have any questions about how to do something in a particular language or need suggestions on how to implement something, then I may be able to offer something, but I doubt it.

This is longer than I'd intended, so I'll end it here.

It'd take a lot more than elf loli hentai and tentacles to scare me off. I blame the internet. At any rate, I'm the guy who always leaves after about an hour (since I have my biology lab to go to); so if anyone ever wonders who I am, that's the easiest way to tell. At least the one hour I get is fun.
