*the rain is pouring, it is time to get out of the rain and rest for the night. The hooded figure enters the Inn leaving a trail of mud and water as he approaches the inn keeper to purchase a room. Shortly after the transaction is made the hooded one goes to a table towards the middle of the room, a barmaid leaves some sweet Meade on his table that he tenderly drains, swig after swig, listening to those around him, trying to catch something interesting to listen to.*
*quietly slipping away to his room, he traps his door and windows to keep any thieves at bay, nothing deadly but strong enough to not be disarmed by an armature, he takes off his boots and his hood, revealing his elven like features, pointy ears, long white hair, dark skin, and above the rest, glowing dark red eyes. yes the drow in search of something, a vision he has yet to discover the meaning behind. He lays down on the bed thinking before he begins his four hour meditation for rest, thinking about what it may mean, then slowly he slips away for the while*
*a knock at the door and our drow leaps up out of the bed from meditation, he quickly hoods himself hearing the knocking sound more and more urgent, then he moves to the door and cracks it open*
"yes?"
*person behind the door* "oh, i think this is the wrong room.. sorry"
*the drow closes the door quickly and locks it back up wondering what that was all about, shrugging it lightly and goes to his pack, pulling out several items and laying them on the table, a couple weapons from a pair of identical daggers as well as a light hand crossbow and a long sword. after laying them out he starts to sharpen them with his whetstone*
*staying in his darkened room, he awaits the sun to go down, it has been a very boring day, and a long one at that. He watches the lights in the cracks of the window darken and slowly slip away as the sun finally goes down. Adorning his outfit, and throwing on his hood, as well as arming himself with his weapons, he quietly slips out of the room and down the stairs, leaving some coin on the counter top by the exit for the inn keeper and outside he goes. he heads west, a direction to not be taken too lightly, especially since that is the way of his initial destination. he only has 8 hours of darkness today before he needs to find shelter again, so he hurries, quickly moving passed anyone and staying to the dark, then he hops on the back of a small horse pulled cart and hides himself amongst the items it holds, he will keep watch to be sure he isn't spotted or in case he needed to escape for a reason unknown. only time will tell if he gets to this location on time or not.*
*Sounds in the night, crickets churping and the quiet squeeking of the wheels on the horse pulled cart as the drow lays in wait, hiding amidst the merchandise, he examines the driver noting how tired the man looks, and curiously starts to rummage through the goods, seeing if he can find anything useful. AHA! cake he finds and quietly starts to munch on it. then the horse comes to a sudden halt and the driver appears to be talking to someone. Several men approach from the edges of the forest, they sound threatening as they speak to him, much of it can't be understood, but the drow decides not to waste any time quietly sneaking his way into the forest, then setting a couple traps he climbs a tree and fires an arrow into one of the bandits. the others draw their weapons and try to find where the arrow came from. A large fellow, possibly the leader points for a couple of them to investigate, both are hit by needle traps, like the sting of a thousand bees they fall to the ground squirming and screaming trying to get them out. this startles the others, the drow then casts darkness upon the rest of the group and dives in, the sounds of blades slicing through flesh is sounded and one thud after another, the darkness then fades away, and in front of the driver he sees nothing but a bunch of dead bandits. The Drow sneaks his way back to the back of the cart, and the driver doesn't think much on the occuring event and quickly leaves the area making his horse move quickly. the drow keeps an eye out for any more annoyances, plenty of time left at night for him to reach a nearby cave if need be, and possibly the next village. And again his journey continues.*
*The light on the Horizon, the cart is still a couple miles away from the next city, and there isn't much time to find a place to avoid it. The drow hops off the back of the cart and flees into the forest where he quickly searches for some sort of refuge from the sun. No luck, the light is slightly getting brighter and now he's afraid, he runs back towards the city where the Cart was heading, only to find a wall, he puts on his climbing gear as quickly as he can and begins over it, once he makes it over he climbs down into the city and finds an open window. He leaps into the window and rolls to one knee stance with his blades drawn. Nobody around, so far so good, he sheathes his blades and quickly looks for the attic. That was too close for comfort but now there is nothing to worry about. He reaches down as if he were grabbing his rope that he used to climb down the wall, it's missing, he freezes in place and looks back at the window and gulps hard. Obviously there's nothing to worry about, except maybe the rope being spotted and reported about an intrusion. Shrugging the thoughts off, he goes upstairs and finds the attic, he climbs up there, lots of useless junk and old toys, must be a large family living here though. Hopefully no one will be up here anytime soon.*
*A rustling of cloth can be heard near by as a shadowy figure rolls over. Nothing can be seen of the figure, except the red hair, as the figure is covered by thin dusty blankets.*
